Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information we, Samara Marketing Communication Ltd., collect on this website, why, where it is stored and what your rights are.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, company, phone number, email address, your message and, if you choose, your sector.

Report download form: your name, company, job title, email address and sector.

Recorded automatically with each enquiry: the page you contacted us from, the page language, any campaign parameters in the page address (UTM) and the site that referred you.

Why we use it

• To get back to you and handle your enquiry.
• To handle your request for the report.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries.

We send marketing messages only by email, and only to people who opt in with a separate box on the form. The box is never ticked in advance, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Where it is stored

• A copy of each enquiry is kept on the website's server and deleted after 24 months.
• The enquiry is also recorded in monday.com, where our team manages its follow-up.
• To filter out spam, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile.
• Some of these services (monday.com, Google, Cloudflare) store information on servers outside Israel.

How the forms work

• You are not required by law to give us your details, but without a name and a way to reach you we cannot reply.
• Your choice in the marketing box is stored with your enquiry, so we have a record that you agreed.
• The campaign parameters and the referring site are kept in your browser (sessionStorage, not a cookie) until you close the tab, and reach us only if you send a form.
• To stop repeated submissions and spam, the forms keep your IP address only as a one-way hash, never with your enquiry, and delete it within two days. The forms also use a hidden field and a check on how long the form took to fill in.
• Like any web server, ours records the IP address of each request, including form submissions, in technical logs used for security and troubleshooting. These logs are deleted after 14 days.
• If a form isn't available, our phone number and email address are shown in its place so you can contact us directly.

How we measure use of the site

• Google Analytics (GA4) helps us understand how the site is used. It loads only if you choose 'Accept' in the notice the site shows in the page's language. If you choose 'Decline', or make no choice, it doesn't load.
• Once you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>. Information about your visit is then sent to Google. Google Analytics keeps this data for at most 14 months.
• Your choice is kept in your browser (localStorage, as samara_consent, not in a cookie) for 12 months, after which the notice asks again. If your browser blocks this storage, your choice applies only to the page you're on.
• You can change your choice at any time with the 'Cookie settings' link at the foot of every page. If you choose 'Decline' there after accepting, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page.

Your rights

Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you may review the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date, and ask us not to send you marketing messages. You may also withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
